Born on July 23, 1971 in Yerevan.
1994 - Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the YSU (Yerevan State University).
2002 - Post Graduate of YSU.
2007 - Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University of Boston (the USA). Lawyer. Justice Second-class Councilor. Lieutenant in reserve.

Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General Office of the Republic of Armenia. Head of the Department of Legal and Structural Reforms of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.
2006 - 2008 - First Deputy of the Head of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia and the Secretary to the Council of Courts’ Chairmen.
Since 2003 - Lecturer in the Chair of International and European Law in Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University.
Since 2011 - Lecturer in the chair of Law in French University in Armenia.
Member of the RPA Council.
2009 - 2012 - Elected Member of the National Assembly (electoral district #8). Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican” (RPA) faction.
2012 - 2017 - Member of the National Assembly (electoral district #8). Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican” (RPA) faction.
April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly by the territorial electoral list of the electoral district #3 of the RPA.
Awarded the Diploma of the Union of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.
2016 - Awarded the second rank Medal “For Services Contributed to Motherland.”
Author of a number of scientific articles, co-author of an educational manual.
Married, with two children.
